Following an incredible response at the Commercial Vehicle Show, Valor Power is proud to partner with Ford & Slater to host an exclusive Open House event at Ford & Slater’s Leicester facility on 21st May.

This is your opportunity to get up close with the Volt Station – Valor Power’s modular battery storage and EV charging platform, which we recently showcased alongside the award-winning DAF XD Electric at the CV Show.

For the entire month of May, the Volt Station will be installed on-site in Leicester, giving fleet operators, logistics businesses, and commercial vehicle stakeholders the chance to see the system operating in a real-world environment.

Built specifically for sites where traditional infrastructure can create delays or complexity, Volt Station is designed to overcome the common barriers to electrification. From depots with limited grid capacity to no-dig, tenant-only locations, the platform offers a faster, more flexible route to deploying EV charging infrastructure – without the long lead times often associated with conventional installations.

Throughout the event, visitors will also have the chance to explore some of the latest innovations being delivered by Ford & Slater and Valor Power, including the UK’s first traction battery inverter developed for refrigerated trailer operation.

Refreshments will be available throughout the day, creating the perfect opportunity to network, explore the technology, and discuss how scalable charging and energy solutions can support your fleet transition.
